Helping My ConstituentsAs the Federal Member of Parliament, I am able to provide information and assistance to the people of Newcastle in their dealings with federal government departments and agencies. Each year, I publish current information kits on the following topics: I also publish a Federal Services Directory, which lists local contact information for federal departments and agencies in Newcastle. Issues covered by the federal departments and agencies people often deal with include: As the Federal Member for Newcastle, I can assist my constituents with any difficulties they are experiencing with these departments and agencies. As I am required to spend considerable time attending to parliamentary duties in Canberra, my staff members will be able to assist you with any inquiries, information, advice and advocacy. My office can arrange for a congratulatory message to be sent to people celebrating their 50th and subsequent wedding anniversary or their 90th and subsequent birthdays. We can help with queries about obtaining federal government grants, national flags, or certificates of appreciation for military personnel.
